A lot of people feel like they are just going to get older and do very little with their time. You don’t have to be someone that doesn’t get out! The reason you need to do something enjoyable as often as possible is because stress can kill you. When you’re at an older age, this is especially true because you’re not as strong physically as you were when you were younger. People that don’t take time out to do things that make them happy tend to be unhappy pretty much all of the time because it’s easy to get sick of your surroundings!

Do you have any addiction related issues? You may drink, smoke, or do any number of drugs. Know that you are at risk for different issues, including overdoses, the longer you stay on drugs. If you have a doctor that is prescribing you medications, you need to make sure that you are not addicted to them if they are unhealthy for you. Sometimes it’s okay to take medications to feel better, but if they are going to end up ending your life earlier than you want then it’s time for a change. Always work with a doctor no matter how old you are before quitting or starting any kind of medication, drug, or drinking alcohol.

Getting old doesn’t mean you have to feel terrible all the time. If you have any health issues or want to avoid them, go to the doctor as soon as possible. Keeping up with your health is good because when you least expect it something could go wrong!
